The Network of Youth Engagement is a youth organization of young people aged 18-30 years old in Katerini (Greece) that through bottom-up interaction they share their concerns and formulate sustainable proposals for the local development of the town since 2016. The organization aims to promote youth work and social participation. Their activities are focused on five pillars:
● Active citizenship
● Sustainable development
● Culture & Sports
● Education
● Phenomena of social pathogenesis
Under the umbrella of youth engagement it mainly focuses on projects that promote active citizenship, sustainable development, anti-discrimination, human rights, culture and democracy, working with a variety of methodologies in a formal and informal structure, strongly supporting non-formal education.
